ULTRASOUND

Ultrasonic sound waves are transmitted from the machine through a transducer into the area being treated. We use a combination of gel and biofreeze to facilitate the sound waves into the tissue. The ultrasound penetrates deep into the muscles and ligaments. It breaks up muscle conjestion and inflammation, which in turn reduces pain.

MICRO-CURRENT

Micro-current is a relatively new technique that has become available and is FDA approved. It delivers electrical wave lengths that break down adhesions in the muscle tissue bands. It causes the tissue to heal at an excellerated rate.

PERCUSSOR

The percussor is a deep tissue vibration that helps to get rid of trigger points. These are areas of irritated tissue that refer pain to other areas and shorten and weaken muscles. It takes effort over time to deactivate the trigger points. This vibrating massager stimulates nerves and gets down to the underlying cause of the pain.

INTERFENTIAL THERAPY

This therapy at our clinic is an electrical wave length that penetrates deep into the body. Its purpose is to reduce swelling and inflammation in muscle and ligaments. along with inhibiting muscle spasms. It also causes the joints of the spine to produce endorphins (the body's own pain killer).
